I. Main Purposes and Principle of Operation
The inclined screw press decker is a highly efficient thickener which is made by introducing advanced foreign technology and combining the characteristics of Chinese pulping industry. It can be used by the pulping and paper making industry for concentrating and washing various pulps, especially suitable for the dehydration of waste paper pulp. Using it in series with a screw press washer can achieve the concentration required by a heat dispersion machine. It has various advantages such as large capacity, good dewatering effect, less space occupation and easy to operate and perform maintenance, etc.
Main principle of operation: the low-concentration stock enters the filter drum through the stock inlet at the bottom. Being pushed by the screw, it is transferred upward from the bottom. Then the water flows into the box through the filter holes on the filter drum under the effect of gravity and is discharged from the filter outlet. The condensed stock is discharged from the stock outlet on the upper part of equipment. A cleaning brush is equipped behind the screw blade, and it keeps brushing the surface of filter board of filter drum while it rotates with the screw synchronously to ensure the filter holes are unblocked.
This series inclined screw stock press decker is divided into three types according to the screw rows, i.e. 1 row, 2 rows, 3 rows.
II. Main Features and Characteristics
1. Dehydration mainly relies on gravity. The equipment is easy to operate. Operators can learn the operation at once.
2. The equipment occupies a small space. The layout of foundation and pipeline is simple and the installation is easy.
3. The equipment has blockage proof structure which will not block the stock so as to ensure continuous operation.
4. The equipment is equipped with a cleaning brush for the filter board, which can prevent the fiber from blocking the board so as to greatly reduce cleaning times and cleaning waster consumption.
5. Large capacity and less electricity consumption than the other types of thickeners.
6. Less loss of fiber and the white water concentration is 0.1-0.5%.
